James Thompson

James Thompson has recently joined M.A.F. full time after working remotely for the company over a year as an intern in the summer of 2019.

He graduated from The University of Wisconsin-Madison’s top ranked Real Estate program and is eager to make a name for himself in Chicago. James currently lives in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. He is focused on multifamily and mixed-use properties in Chicago’s Belmont Cragin, Old Irving Park, and Portage Park neighborhoods.

He has a strong understanding of the operations of multifamily real estate due to his experience as a property manager along with his prior experience as an intern. Having graduated from one of country’s top real estate programs has along put his real estate knowledge ahead of the curve. Originally from the Minneapolis suburbs, his previous experience as a lacrosse coach allows him to listen and advise his clients along with the entire M.A.F. team.
